I was a little skeptical after reading some negative reviews, and I have to tell you, I just don't understand them after staying here. You at a campground and should expect to see some bugs! We were with a large group with several adults and 8 children - we all had a blast doing the waterslide, relaxing in the heated pools, doing the ropes course, playing mini golf, etc. Their organized events were simple but really fun - the kids loved the water wars and we very much enjoyed the ride around the campground with a staff member chatting with the kids and taking song requests, we had so much fun singing along to the music. This is a very large campground so expect to do a lot of walking or you can rent one of their golf carts which we all enjoyed. The weekend we were there was extremely hot so the pools were a bit crowded but still enjoyable for us. We did not encounter a single rude staff member as other reviews referenced, everyone was very friendly. Yes, if you are breaking a rule they are going to speak to you but with so many campers that's necessary to keep order and enjoyment for everyone. We will definitely return to this campground, thank you for a fun filled weekend!
The staff were nice. I was in site 439 which faced the lazy river that people could tube down. There were 3 “ glamping” raised platform tents directly across. The Site was nice. Met some great ( and helpful !) people in the adjacent sites- I was camping with my kitties in the maiden voyage with a motorcycle popup camper pulled by my Jeep. Bathrooms were close by . They were nice and kept clean. Here are the negatives— this place is like ###$& cornfield maze— most campgrounds have street signs with cute little names. Not this place. Be prepared to get lost trying to find your site-( a few steep hills too) Also my site was near the main road which you could hear road noise.
This place has nice amenities if you have a family. My husband and I enjoyed the mini golf and we went tubing in the salmon falls rive. This is probably the dirtiest campground I’ve ever been to. There was trash in our campsite, trash along the sides of the roads, thrash in the bathhouses. We found a beer can along the river bank. When we arrived at our campsite there was no picnic table, we had to walk to an empty site nearby to grab one and bring it to our site. The grossest part of all was when we were leaving, my husband was dumping the tanks on the camper, the sewer overflowed into our neighbors campsite. Overall, a lack of attention to detail in general, especially for what they charge to stay here. The guy that came by to take care of the sewer situation was super nice. Other than that it was a lousy experience. I stayed here years ago when my kids were little, it’s really gone downhill.
This place is beyond perfect. Visited this campsite for a solo get away, stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Everything from the employees to the rooms, the trails, the pools, etc, was great. This campsite is huge and there is so much to do! The general Manager Steve was Fantastic. Being a solo female traveler, Steve made sure I was well taken care of to ensure my safety. They met all of my needs, I will 100% be recommending this campsite to friends and family. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!
