Stayed two years in a row. Turned out to be a great place for what we need. Short bike ride to short sands. Would be better for hard side campers but it was fine for my popup. Burnett’s tends to be a bit noisier.

Tent sites looked good over all and were more in the woods. Great if kids want to ride their bikes around. Some skeeters during July/August but use a screen tent and or the smoke coils come evening and you will be fine. Would be there this year but have too many people going for my popup.

Fires need to be out at 10 pm by the time you light the fire you need to put it out that's not camping to me. Signs to go up to your site there are none you have to figure it out yourself very very small sites basically just a driveway you cannot park on the bark mulch. 5 minute walk to the beach 🏖️ that was a lie it takes 15 minutes would I refer a friend absolutely not wouldn't refer any friends. The sites are expensive too and there is a charge for everything if your spouse has a vehicle it's a $10 a night extra charge so if you have the place for a week it's $70 extra just for the car 🚗

This is the most amazing quiet campground. They only have the basics, bathrooms/showers, sink for dishes, laundry, wifi by their small store, tent and RV sites, but it is only a 5-10 minute walk to short sands beach and all that has to offer. Been going here for over 25 years and the owners are family now! Love this place

Quiet campsites in the woods just a short walk to the beach and shops in York. Diane in the office was soo helpful and gave so many incredible recommendations on what to do and see in the area. Facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry) at the campground are very well maintained. We woke up to the lion roaring from the amusement park which was super cool! Can’t wait to go back!
