The campground itself is nice , nice place to swim. The bathrooms were a tad grimey but served there purpose. On the first night we stayed a family down below us partied loudly well past midnight and on the second night the gentleman next to us partied LOUDLY well past 1:30 a.m screaming and hollering and playing music. We were told quiet time was strictly enforced but apparently not for the seasonal campers, not the experience we were looking for.
Very nice, private, quite, family campground. Definitely would go again.
We stopped for one night on our way to Nova Scotia. The owner was very nice and gave us a site overlooking the beautiful lake. This campground is home to mostly seasonal sites, some of which have fallen into disrepair which is clearly overlooked by management. We travel in a small camper van so shower facilities are important to us. We don't need fancy, but we do need clean. The bathrooms here are primitive and disgustingly dirty. With a little updating and attention this could be a fabulous property and hopefully improvements will be made in the future.
Enjoyed our short stay here! The beach/lake area was great! It was a good mix of longer term and short term. Everything was well maintained and clean. Site was not level but it was very roomy and easy pull through. Pretty inexpensive and the staff was so friendly! Plus you are only a short distance from Canada if you wanna pop over and do some international exploring.
