I-10 heading West, take exit 44 then South on Hwy 165 approximately 1 mile to US 90. Turn right, then West on US 90, approximately 2 miles on left.
I-10 heading East, take exit 36, then South on Hwy 397 approximately 1 mile to US 90. Turn left, heading East on US 90 approximately 6 miles on right.

Great find, wide level pads, well lit, RV park. We only stayed the night and used electric, but just stabalized and leveled the front. Nice friendly service with directions sent to cell phone. Park wifi was not fast but I had 5G ATT service on the phones, super clean park. Camped in a Travel Trrailer
The first thing I need to say is how strongly I rely on Google reviews when choosing an RV park. So Blue Heron's rating of 4.7 spoke to me. Initially our one night stay was supposed to be simply to get from one place to another. But...life is what happens ...Hubby and I both started having health problems on our 5K trip and Blue Heron became part of a mad dash home. In steps Johnny. Not only did he back our reservation up a day, but he kept the site available if we needed an extra night. Additionally, I needed to get a prescription mailed to us overnight and after receiving it, he stayed late to be sure we got it when we arrived. From a customer care aspect, I couldn't give Johnny enough stars. He showed a kind spirit when we needed it the most. And the park...it's lovely. Though having many long term occupants, it's well maintained and as clean as a whistle. I look forward to staying here again under any circumstances, but hopefully good ones.
