We arrived during an unusual cold snap where the water had to be turned off to prevent freezing pipes. The campground kept everyone informed of all activities with the water and offered suggestions for ease of getting thru the cold. During our stay we needed an RV store and the staff were nice enough to give us a place that was ~20 minutes from the campground and saved us over an hour trip of where we had googled. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend staying at this park that is clean, quiet and relaxing.
The best overnight stay we've had. Full hookup. Close easy on/off to I-10. Nice, clean park with great shower/bath building. We called while on the road ready to stop for the night and Becky in the office was very accommodating in our quick overnight stay, assigning us to a site close by the showers & office. Do yourself a favor and stay here if it's on your way!
Our first exposure to a Rjourney park was great. We were passing through and only stayed for 1 night. The gentleman that checked us in was super nice and the space we had was a roomy pull-through. They also had a laundry, but 3 of the 5 washers were out of order. We were in space #50 and had a large rain storm come through. It overwhelmed to drainage by our space and had 2" of water at our steps. Thankfully, it was gone by morning.
Overall, a great stay at a very reasonable price. We would stay there again!
Very convenient location for travel. We thought the park was very clean and the sites were level and easy to enter and exit. We did not utilize their facilities, but they appeared to be conveniently located. The manager was gracious enough to allow us to purchase propane upon arrival--after hours. Much appreciated.
Rooms were clean.
Customer Service was very friendly, courteous, & knowledge of their job.
I feel that location is paramount for any type of business endeavor(s) & often times plays a key role in determining the overall success of said business establishment.
Note: The reason for my 4 Star Rating is determined by 1. Your RV Park could use either a security guard (especially at late night) or perhaps install surveillance cameras. It would be for the benefit of protecting the customer & also Lake Charles RV Park Property..
