About Campground

Vinton RV Park is a premier RV park nestled in shaded Oak Trees just off of I-10. We are 20 minutes west of Lake Charles just down the road from Delta Downs Raceway. We have a variety of sites that include concrete, gravel, and grass pads. We have 30 & 50 amp sites that have electric, water & sewer. Our pads are really spacious and offer enough room for you and your family to enjoy the outside.

Our amenities include FREE laundry, WIFI, and a swimming pool. We also have a recreational building where you can sit, relax, and play some games. We work hard to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere that encourages outside gatherings as well as dedicated quiet hours so you can rest easy knowing you are in a safe and welcoming environment.

Michelle was amazing she checked us in quickly. Then made sure we were set up in our spot and wanted to know if we needed anything. A pleasure to have met her. Nice quiet park with shade trees if you want shade and if not there are spots.

Nice little park with friendly management. Free laundry is nice.

The mosquito population was very annoying at best. Not sure if we just caught a bad week for mosquitos but they ate us alive walking to the beach.

Went to Jose's for dinner which was nice.

Easy on & off the highway. Pool was closed & discussing. We had one of the few paved spots but there were 3 trees we had to work around. It was pretty level. We were Very close together. Not enough room for canopy, chairs or grill. However; there was a LARGE grassy area where I could walk my dog, kids could play etc. their reservation system is nice , but my late check in package was non existent. Good thing I remember where my spot was because you can’t get back to the map. Also it did not take my good Sam’s or passport America discount off. I tried calling the help # a few times and no answer. Road is gravel, most of the lots are grass or gravel. All spots are $40 Seems like a good place for 1-2 nights.

One of the cleanest, well maintained campgrounds I have been to. Very large with plenty of great camp sites. We were getting in after closing and the campground had everything ready for us with detailed instructions. The receptionist was very professional and kind on the phone
