We live in Alabama but come to Gonzales to visit family. We found this place a year ago and it is Awesome. The staff is the friendliest that I have seen ANYWHERE. The place is clean and pet friendly. We will be back as this is our home away from home.
We have an awesome time. It was a very well put together event, the bathrooms are clean. Everyone was very friendly. It was well organized and people were not really bumping into each other as usual event. They had things for all walks of life, displays food even some drinks. It was a really overall great experience. All the stuff that we got to talk to you was really excellent.
We only visited the Assumption Gym area, but it was nice. The facility is large and noisy but clean and well-appointed. The bathrooms are nice. The concession stand takes only credit cards so don't bring cash. The sound system for the high school wrestling state championship that we attended was very difficult to understand.
The exit for Lamar Dixon Expo Center was very clear on the interstate, but there were no follow-up signs once you've turned off. I was shocked by the lack of signage for this important venue. I had to stop and get directions.
Great place for indoor/outdoor events. Attended a biker rally and loved there was a cover over the space as it rained everyday off and on. No one got wet so big plus. The indoor area was cool, clean and no smoking inside and the bathrooms were clean.
Great venue for a company family day. Air conditioned building with lots of space. Clean inside and outside. Plenty of parking even with multiple events going on.
