Rutherford Beach Campground

Good hard packed sand equivalent to a dirt road. Water line is nothing but shells of all sizes they range from smaller than a pea to at least 4” dumpsters and portacans there is water at the parking lot on a couple of large wooden poles also a couple of shower heads. and that is all except for the beach and a lot of pelicans.

If you're looking for a quiet beach getaway with few amenities this is it. Spent a lovely couple of days gathering seashells and my thoughts away from the hustle and bustle of more people-y areas. Be sure to bring whatever you need, as the closest place to get a forgotten item is at least 45 minutes away. If you plan on staying after dark, have plenty of bug spray! Will definitely return!

Great beach...clean. just don't let your dogs drink the water. Lots of crabs and shells.

Such a beautiful place and incredible view! If you're into photography you'll never want to leave this place. Whether you're alone or with family and friends you'll find plenty to do here. It's a beach like any other and there are smaller sharks as is every ocean. We will continue to go every year.
