Brought my grandson for an LSU game and stayed in a cabin here. We loved it! Mr Bill and his wife Pam made us feel welcomed and took great care of us!! The breakfast staff were amazing and what a great little perk to offer! My grandson had plenty to keep him occupied and I was able to relax! Safe place and near everything we needed. When I come back, I’ll stay here!

This was an extremely convenient stop for us between Pensacola, FL and Houston, TX. We were supposed to stay for one night but severe weather which included a wind advisory and flood warnings caused us to change our paths. The staff was extremely helpful in extending our stay and keeping us in the same spot. They also let us know that the bathhouse was the sturdiest place to go should the passing storm cause a tornado to pop up (which didn't happen). The laundry room was clean. There were 4 machines, a small rack to hang clothes on, and a small folding table. The shrimp etouffee, spicy catfish, gumbo, and the Wicked Tuna at Duke's Steak and Seafood were delicious. Rouse's Market, a short drive away, had an excellent selection and prices for groceries. While we didn't want to tow our vehicle in the wind, we didn't mind doing a little sightseeing with just our truck. We did go see the USS Kidd Veterans Memorial. Since we enjoy history and museums, we were glad we took the drive to see it. Beware, parking is limited along the street near the museum, and we were too tall for the parking garages. We went around the block 3 times and did find a spot we fit in.

This is a great KOA. Although we are visiting in the cooler weather, there is a hot tub available and mini-golf and the traditional bounce pad. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you need a place to stay near Baton Rouge, this KOA is the perfect place.
