Reunion Lake RV Resort is the most conveniently-located RV resort from Texas to Florida. We're positioned on the I-10/I-12 corridor at Exit 47 Robert, Louisiana, which is perfect for locals and interstate travelers alike. Our campground is open 365 days a year, and we also have a perfect Good Sam 10-10-10 rating.
We recently camped at the Sun Outdoors NO and it was absolutely wonderful. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. You can notice the thought and planning that went into this campground. We loved the pools and lazy river. It was a quiet and pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back to enjoy this campground again. Hats off to the staff, the three ladies we met were kind, helpful and engaging. The spots are spacious and we appreciated the concrete pad, table and burn pit. Probably my favorite place to stay so far.
This park could be fabulous. We’ve stayed at Sun resorts all over the country. This one lacks attention from the staff. The maintenance crew was virtually invisible and it shows. I’m attaching a picture of a beer can that sat on the entrance sign from the day we got there until today when we left. We were there for 5 weeks. How many times did a staff member pass this without taking the initiative to stop. Do better. Be better. Your resort could be great.
We arrived at the facility on Friday, Feb. 16, got out and after our ride went to the restroom at the entrance. It was horrible, the office had 5 or 6 workers sitting around laughing and cutting up.
but I thought okay... it was late in the day! We never used the restroom or any of the restrooms on the grounds until we left on Monday, Feb. 19. Stopped at the front going out and it was horrific, it had not been touched, no paper towels, trash can full and the toilet was a hot mess. When I brought it to the girls attention at the front desk, she told me that their cleaning lady had been out. I told her that was no excuse that there were plenty people sitting around on Friday that someone should have taken care of the restroom. That is the first thing that people see when they check in. As I said, we did not go in the restrooms on the grounds... if she is the only one that is cleaning, then I can imagine they were just as nasty. I told her, the place was too nice to neglect the small things. My husband asked about the restaurant on the grounds and one of the workers, had no clue what was on the menu... I would think that I would want my staff to know a few things about the whole facility...Just one campers opinion.
Great RV park!! A lot of parks have 'resort' in their title...this one in my opinion is and earns it. Check in was super easy, park is very clean. The RV sites were spacious and level. It was great to have mini-golf and other activities for kids. We were only there for one night, but I would recommend this to anyone passing through the area. Saw they had a pool and beach area...but we visited when it was chilly (November), we had no desire to go! :) It has a gas station located right out the front of the park (not affiliated) which made it very convenient! Location was perfect, not too far off the highway (never heard any noise).
