We have come here on several occasions just to enjoy the splash pad. The bath house is immaculate and it's just always a great visit.

We stayed 5 nights ...beautifully maintained park...the showers/bathrooms and laundry were very well cared for...don't really understand the golf cart obsession with the locals...almost a constant parade of golf carts...lol..that's really the only negative...not a big deal and I did find out they pay extra for that...great park!!

Not very thrilled with this park. Shower heads have buildup on them and was disappointed to find there was no septic hookup. If things change, I'll consider a different rating. But for now, I'm disappointed with Palmetto Island State Park.

This is really a gem of a little park. Very pleasant, peaceful, nice lakes, nice entrance station staff. Didn't camp but campsites seemed well maintained. Some of the trails could use maintenance. The only unfortunate is the campground host seems to have anger management issues, uses foul language. No visitor to this park should be subjected to that kind of behavior.
