Camp ground was nice. Trails were in bad shape, couldn’t walk through the West We Go trail. Employees were friendly. The camp bathrooms were ok, but the toilets did not work well at all. I used to kayak here regularly. Lots of alligators. Saw a gigantic spider.

I had a great time riding through Bayou Segnette State Park. ( The word Segnette

means BLESSED) means It cost $3 per person in the car for a Drive Thru.My daughter from Hawaii is a Navy Veteran so it was free for us 4 people. It was a nice , nature Adventure! I was told by the nice young man who checked us in The Big Cabins had to be rebuilt after the Hurricane.Even though they are doing some construction in a certain area. & The pool is closed for now , I still enjoyed the outing today.
