To South Shore Campground Area: From Homer, Louisiana take Louisiana Hwy 9 north 18 miles to the recreation area sign at FR 900. Turn east onto FR 900 and travel just over 2 miles. Turn left (north) on FR 901 and proceed past the day-use/boat ramp signed road to the camp sites on the left.
Great site and facilities with clean pit toilets water available, too.
Only one here at the campsite and loved it. There's water hookups in various parts of this campsite. Side has restrooms but I do not see fire Rings not saying all of them don't have it but I don't see fire rings or grills. Lots of frogs croaking at night but I had no problem I went to sleep.
We always enjoy Corney. The lake looks great, the forest service has been hard at work trimming back the brush.
Good fishing if you have a small boat or a kayak. Caught one of my biggest bass from this small lake. Quite the place if you want to camp and not be disturbed with a lot of other campers.
