Don't stay in Lodge 7. There is a daybed in there that every time the person moves it sounds like someone is tearing tin off the roof. You can hear it all over the house. The person that had to sleep in it didn't get any sleep at all and the rest of us had very little. It's very loud I don't even know how a tiny daybed can make that much noise.
The Cabin was a sweet cozy little weekend get away. I plan 2 return soon with my family. One of the Lodges will be my next stay.
This place is a hidden jewel! If you need to relax and unwind, this is the place! Cabins are clean and comfortable. Grounds are well kept and quiet. Plan to visit at least twice a year.
We stayed in lot 37, 11/16-11/19/23, there was a lot of dirt washed down the hill onto the concrete pad. Would have been nice not to track it into our camper. Some of the permanent campers that stayed there lots looked trashy. Don't call it an RV resort if it's going to look like some sketchy trailer park. Very disappointed. I doubt that I will ever be back to camp there. Only thing I thought highly of were the Security man, the nice lady in the gate house upon check in. I know that there was a change in management, but heck , do something about the messy sites.
It's a beautiful peaceful place and lots of relaxing time. Fishing off the pier, swimming at the beach, or just relaxing at the cabin. BBQ grills are available for outdoor fun with family and friends. And a nice park for the kids. You can also bring your RV. Nice quiet location. And top flight security. 🏝🏘🛝
