From South: I-49, take Exit 53, follow signs to casino. From North: I-49, take Exit 80 to LSUA, turn left at caution light, and go right on LA 1.
Overall, had a great time. This casino is out in the middle of no where. Not much around. Only one diner open inside, so food options were limited, however food was good. They did offer some food in sports bar as well, but small menu.
Nice room, not sure why price was more other than the view. First visit so the scenery was nice. Wish all the food venues were open, Legends steakhouse required reservations( did not know that). No brochures in the room to show attractions. Overall nice weekend getaway spot.
I used to love going to the Paragon casino but it's gone downhill since then. It's past due for remodeling, renovations, and upgrades. The carpets look old, wore out and dirty. The parking lot used to be packed with vehicles. Now it's mostly vacant.
I cannot remember the last time I walked out with winnings in hand. There's never a waitress to ask for a drink anymore. You can't even order a drink from your seat. If you need an alcoholic beverage you have to ask where to order one.
The best thing about the Paragon are the alligators. 🐊 I love love love watching the feeding shows.
Very dark, signage is very lacking, easy to get lost. Not the greatest front service desk. The floors and rooms were clean and the food and drink prices were moderate. If you're looking to get lucky gambling not such a bad place. For the price, not worth the stay.
First some backstory, the first time I came to Paragon I was roughly 9 or 10... Maybe!!! This particular time I'm touching 40. They had so many fun and exciting bright-light games. I'm more drawn to the basic games b4 the bright lights and they had all the good games. I brought my 4 year with me because they also have an area for children of all ages priced by the hour of course. Yes of course I would return.
