Pros- friendly desk clerk at check in; nice playground area and game room for the kids

Cons- We stayed in cabin 124 and was told on the phone at booking that it had bunk beds and slept 6 people. Our family of 5 arrived to no bunk beds and only sleeping for 4. A very small sleeper sofa and small bed in the back of the cabin (possibly a double). We went back to the office to see about getting a cabin for 6 like we were told when booked; however, they were completely booked up. It was either one of our children sleep on the not so clean floor, or go buy a blowup mattress plus sheets. That’s what we chose to do considering the circumstances. Our two older boys had to share the pull out sofa and our younger daughter on the blow up. The bed in the back of the cabin is so hard and uncomfortable. You can feel every spring and it made so much noise, none of us slept. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left and came home early after 1 night. I emailed RV Journey about the mix up as soon as we arrived and still have not received an email back. For paying $400 for 2 nights (that includes the damage deposit), you would expect a lot nicer accommodations. I would say the cabins should be maybe $50 a night. Nowhere near $115-125.

While the campground itself seemed really nice, I would not recommend staying in the cabins.

The park itself is nice but the $10 early check in fee is ridiculous and the front staff is pretty inflexible! We were 50 minutes early (150) and had to pay a $10 early check in fee since check in is at 2. I would understand if the park was busy but there were multiple empty sites. Driving a big rig it's not easy to just park on the side of the road and wait the exact time. They did not accept our military or Good Sam discount once we arrived. We also asked to move one space over and they said it wasn't possible. We were there for 2 nights and there never was anyone in the space we requested to move to. Not sure if these are RJourney rules or an inflexible front staff.

We only stopped for the night but noted that the park was very clean. All sites had concrete pads and were level. Beautiful lake added to the stay. Only negative would be that the sites were a little close together. However, that would not stop us from staying again.
