Thank you Ocean and Alyssa for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at your Sanctuary. We were greeted by all the friendly animals and enjoyed walking around the property.

So many sweet and interesting people only outnumbered by the sweet and interesting animals. What a picturesque place to sit with honey bees, pet goats and horses and a baby pig, and forage for turkey tail and reishi mushrooms. Ocean and Alyssa are knowledgeable and inspiring, providing an ideal stopover between Houston and New Orleans.

What a wonderful place with an equal wonderful family. They share their property with you as you dry camp. We called last minute at 8pm and they were more than happy to have us. There are at least two Rv spots. We were able to manoeuvre our 5th wheel no problem. Pot belly pig and two horses wander around on their own. Don’t miss the goats!

The animals are lovely but the sanctuary itself is sad. We were placed on an open area because of the size of our setup. Not a problem. But it gave a good look at the animals and their surroundings. It was dirty, piles of manure everywhere-and I mean everywhere. The female dog has recently had another litter of puppies and was skin and bones. The pig they wrote so much about was crying at an enclosure because she has been separated from her babies. We were so excited to stay at an animal sanctuary/rescue and were heartbroken at the conditions of their pens, barns, fields. 🥺
