We came to a wedding in Kentwood and decided to come early and visit the area. We loved the campground. However, the weekend was very crowded at the pool. We had planned to stay around the pool but that was not possible because of the lack of chairs and room. Children were in the adult pool which was surprising.
Sunday morning when we were getting ready to leave a sweet employee stopped with a bag of donut holes. What a sweet treat.
If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stops and camp with you.
Love all the shade from the trees for the campers and that everything isn't cement. There's a lazy river for the kids and a pool attached just for adults. There's even a swim up bar! Everyone either has a side by side or is on a bike. Kids are actually having fun outside! People are here are really friendly. Cabins are available to rent as well. I will definitely be back.
Fireside is always a pleasant and relaxing place to be. The grounds are always so clean and beautiful. We haven't had one customer of ours that didn't love visiting this place

Couldn’t ask for a better campground to stay at very professional staff maintenance crew and an outstanding park manager! This is your go to place pool area very well maintained along with lazy river and well stocked bar. We enjoy fireside and will continue to camp here! Happy camping !
