Iron Mountain Campground sits on the southern banks of DeGray Lake in the foothills of the Quachita Mountains.
Boating, water skiing, kayaking and other water sports are the biggest draw to the lake, and a boat ramp and full service marina are provided.
The lake is also stocked with a variety of game fish, including plenty of hybrid striped bass, making it an ideal area for both boat and bank fishing.
Numerous hiking and horseback riding trails wind around the lake shore.

While evacuating from Hurricane Harvey, I ventured into this campsite by chance & what a great chance it was:
The campground was very peaceful & the water was very clean. Overall it was quiet except the dock was a “party central”, which I didn’t mind since it was kind of far from the campsites.
This is now one of our favorite campgrounds, and we will be back. It was SO quiet, beautiful, spacious and very well maintained! A bonus was to have great cell service! 30mb download with ATT, and 8mb download with Verizon. There were only 5 campers on the loop when we were here, but all of them were respectful and turned off lights at night. If someone did leave them on, they are far enough away they probably wouldn't bother you.
I highly recommend this campground! Photo is site #1.
We went with 7 adults and 2 young children and had a wonderful time. 5 of us stayed in lakefront cabin and the rest in camper. Everything was wonderful…The cabin, the lake, and the grounds around cabin. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back! The only negative was the bike trails were overgrown with brush and lots of poison ivy!
Had an amazing time here. Saw plenty of wildlife views were to die for camp here for 2 nights it was QUITE neighbors were friendly NO COMPLAINING ON MY END. EXCEPT THE SPIDERS UGH. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS AWESOME
38' trailer fits in some spots. Electric Hook up, $16 a night, reserve on site take picture of bar code. Worked out great for us for a night stay
