We camped out and had a great experience. The lake is beautiful and the activities are as exciting as they are varied. A crown jewel of US state parks.

Great lodge, excellent and helpful staff, and awesome view. Rooms are a bit dated, and coffee makers shouldn't be in the bathrooms. That's a pet-peeve of mine for all hotels. Otherwise great experience.

camping couldn't get Internet or WiFi. That's the only thing to complain about everything else is so darn great. Staff was really great golf course was fun, what kind of grass do they have on the fairway? Went on a eagle boat watch, yes saw eagles and guide was very knowledgeable. Camping was fun and trails were well marked Saw lots of deer, drive slowly please.

This was my third visit and each time was a special occasion. Great place for a retreat and to enjoy nature. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing! Everyone was very nice and the food in the restaurant is great!

Went here for the Thanksgiving buffet for $40 (includes drink and gratuity) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! They had everything you could want and more, from a massive salad bar and two tiered dessert table, to three meats, three gravies, and all the sides and fixings your heart could crave. We got there and immediately found a parking spot, went inside and there was no wait or line, got immediately seated and was able to head straight to the buffet with hardly any one around the food. The dining area had a great crowd but not chaotic and we got a lovely window seat overlooking the crystal waters and mountains with the trees changing colors. It was a beautiful Thanksgiving meal. Very low key, very delicious and zero stress involved. Afterwards it was nice to stroll the grounds outside and take in nature away from the hustle and bustle of town. I LOVE this holiday and I love cooking but this was definitely the way to go for anyone looking for a nice break at a place that takes you in like family, keeps the sweet tea full, and gorgeous views and no chaos. Only downside is no leftovers for later!!! Will definitely be back, this was truly a beautiful memory I want to experience the years to come.
