This recreation area is part of [Greers Ferry Lake](http://www.recreation.gov/recreationalAreaDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&recAreaId;=537&agencyCode;=130)
The campgrounds are spacious, well maintained, and a great spot to camp. The restrooms and showers on site are clean and well maintained. The marina is wonderful and the staff at "The Dam Store" are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to insure your time there is pleasant and enjoyable. One of my favorite places to visit. Highly recommend for a stress free, relaxing experience.
Campground looked like it was having trouble keeping up with litter let alone basic site cleaning even in October. Water level was super low so diving was not going to be safe, showers had a 30 second timer before they shut off and you had to turn it on again. Parking spot for the camper was more unlevel than my jacks could accommodate, I would have needed blocks to bring the downhill side up. Moved to another campground on the lake that was better tended after my initial reservation was up.
