Me and a few of my buddies stayed here last weekend and it was the best possible experience we could’ve had. Michael made us feel like we were family with his hospitality! We told him we were going fishing so he met us at the their bait shop at 9 p.m. and ran us through exactly what they were biting on and hooked us up with the correct tackle and we TORE THEM UP!!! Really amazing experience and can’t wait to be back, thank you Michael!

My husband and son planned a fishing trip for December. I was not planning to go since I assumed they would be in a dump hotel. Once I saw the cabin they had booked on the White River I wanted to go too! The cabin was small but brand new and right on the river. I was able to cook great meals in the simple kitchen. The outdoor space with grill, TV, table, fire pit and Adirondack chairs was perfect! Such a great place to unplug and relax. Call Brian Kick at Kick’s Fly Fishing Arkansas to get the best guide in Arkansas!

My husband and I stayed here and we absolutely loved it. The RV spots have full hookups and the park is very clean and well maintained. Some of the spots are easy pull through but even the back in ones are wide enough to easily navigate. We had a park bench, two nice chairs for lounging and a fire pit in our space. Gorgeous white river view and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with getting us all set up. You can launch your own boat which we did and caught some beautiful rainbows with one really big brown that was so beautiful. We will definitely be back. The place is peaceful and quiet and pet friendly. I give Blue Heron Campground 5 stars for sure. :)

My sons and I stayed in the camper cabin for a single night in October when we came to Cotter for some fishing. Michael was very proactive in making sure everything was ready for us when we got there, including dropping off firewood for us so we could make a fire when we got there late in the evening. The camper cabin is quite comfortable, close to the showers and bathrooms, and has a great view of the river. The campground is clean, spacious, well maintained, and easily accessed from the highway into town. River access is great. Beautiful spot with warm, welcoming people running the place who obviously take a lot of pride in creating a wonderful campground for people to visit. We aren't RVers, so I would like to see some pads built for tent camping in the future, because I would love to bring my family here on camping trips to enjoy Blue Heron's hospitality.

We loved staying in the camper cabin this weekend. This campground is meticulously maintained, and everyone is very kind and accommodating. The communication after booking was very efficient. Michael was kind enough to accommodate our early arrival. This will be our go to place to stay when coming to town. Thank you for your hospitality, and we appreciate your hard work in keeping such a clean, beautiful campground. ❤️
