A great place off the grid surrounded by magnificient mountains and with a very friendy service. We loved the experience!

This place was nothing like advertised.
I was expecting to be alone but felt like the owner was breathing down our neck the whole time.
Most if not all of the activities you do while camping were only permitted within the “community area”. The owner continually picked on us and even threw a bucket of water on the “community” camp fire when he felt like it was time for quiet hours. So around 10pm we had to either sleep or sit in the dark. As we were leaving he blamed us for dumping ice, when we were in a different campsite than where it was tossed. The whole experience made me uncomfortable and I felt unwelcome.
You couldn’t pay me to come back here.
Came here for a birthday in august and stayed in one of the teepees. owner was very nice, friendly, and informative. breakfast and happy hour were awesome! (especially the parfait!) the area was gorgeous, and it’s pet friendly. we went on an activity where we couldn’t take our pet, and he even went and spent time with him for us, so he wouldn’t be alone. loved the outdoor toilet and shower set up. i highly recommend this experience, and will absolutely be back if i get the chance.
Absolutely wonderful experience! The host was very attentive to ours and other campers needs. Nice semi-remote spot if you’re looking for a spot away from all the mass campers, but want to just make a few friends.
Side note: the cream cheese served with the breakfast bagels was to die for…. Came for the trees, stayed for the cheese.
