Clean, good views, spaced out. 1 trailer spot, probably 25'max, 4 tent sites
Very small campground, nice toilet. Quiet and peaceful right next to the creek and the Trailhead.
I loved the campground. We were advised to leave after our first night by forest rangers with concerns of sevear flash floods and debris. I want to go back after the snow melt and spend a whole weekend. The park is currently closed due to expected flooding.
There are just four or five places to camp here, but they are free of charge and very close to the river and trail head. The area, like everywhere around Creed, is beautiful. If I remember correctly, two of the four camp sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Not much else. The vault composting toilets were quite smelly.
Go right at the trailhead marker (the trail that goes straight is a dead end at a campground site). We only did 2.25 miles out and 2.25 miles back but loved it. First half mile is a gradual incline with rocks and along a nice creek with small waterfalls. Very relaxing sound. After that section, its a pretty flat and easy hike the next 1-1.5 miles. Youll have to cross a couple small creeks (can walk across the logs which are decently sturdy). Fresh raspberry bushes and strawberries along the way in season. Beautiful hike and will definitely do again, even try to go much further next time.
