When searching for this location, it might be confusing because it comes up as Paintbrush camp ground as well.
The camping area is nice and maintained but way smaller than I was expecting. There are spots for tents, trailers, yurts and cabins. The cabins were basic what you'd expect for a camp ground. Easy access into the cabins using a key pad and the code being the last four digits of the registered user.
There is only one main bathroom area. There is two stalls and one sink with no counter space. There are other toilet facilities but they are latrine style.
Bear Creek is my favorite local campground. My kids love the playground and the nearby beach and lake. There's always new friends to meet and play with. I've been going for years and never had a bad night, the other campers have always been friendly, helpful, and respectful.
