Great little lodge with pet friendly cabins. Stayed with 2 teenagers and our dog for 5 days to ski Wolf Creek. Perfect place to stay. Cabin was rustic, clean, cozy and set up nicely. The owner, Jose, was super nice to speak with, and is a veteran. Hard to beat this place.
Was allowed to do an early check in with ease. They offer complimentary tea and soda in the office. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The room stayed quite warm even though we had the heat off so we slept with the window open the whole time. We let them know and check out and they seemed to get right on it though. It is right on the main road so a little loud at night, but just bring ear plugs and all is well.
Nice EV park, right off hwy. Friendly folks helped out a couple of skiers. Would definitely return!
Shannon was such a great host. She went above and beyond to make our stay nice and even helped us out with a ride when we had car trouble. We met some great people there and shared a campfire with families who have been coming there for years. Linens are new, and very soft. The facilities ( bathrooms) are very clean. We really enjoyed the people running this site. Thank you Shannon and Tom. We will be back soon.
Well. I understand new ownership. Hoping it will get better. We camped here 4 nights for 4th of July weekend We were told you could see fireworks, No. Not even a glimpse. Our two reserved spaces were taken when we arrived. We were discounted and moved into other sites Mosquitoes were so bad. No one was outside very long,,rarely saw people outside except to walk dogs. Location is across the street from river, by an irrigation ditch. Not sure if they can spray. Noise from traffic constant. Some tight awkward spaces.
So. I would probably not stay here again. Manager was very nice.
Bachelor loop was beautiful, not too rough. Just go slow in cars.
