Road there ain't the best, but is worth it. The arch is an easy climb and a flat spot to camp.
This was very interesting to see. I did not hike up to the Ventana but my family did. They said it wasn't as simple as it looks from the road. Though not too bad either. The don't recommend if your not physically capable. Coming back down was a bit more trying. They are physically fit. I've heard about this site throughout my life. Finally seeing it was indeed very cool. All the mountains in the area offer many cool photo op. Once seen however is enough. They took a photo from inside the Ventana (I don't have permission to post). It was amazing. Legend has it that healings take place within the Ventana. "Magnetic Force" 🤔
Lots of dirt road driving for an arch which while big for the area, holds nothing on the ones in Utah or western Colorado. Do not try without 4WD SUV/crossover type vehicle especially if it has rained recently.
