I am a traveling nurse working nights, so finding a quiet and safe campground makes all the difference between sleeping and not sleeping. Whitney Lane was exactly what I was looking for. The manager, Patrick, had a spot waiting for us on the day of our arrival and took the time to get to know us a bit and find out our needs during our 8 week stay. What I didn't expect was to get a sense that we were a guest in Patrick's home. Patrick treated the entire campground as if it were his home and all the campers were his personal guests. He did rounds multiple times a day in his green truck checking on overall safety of the RV park and talking with any camper that was out on the grounds. Every conversation included ensuring that the camper was comfortable and checking to see if there was anything Patrick could do to make the stay better. The overall feeling was that the RV park was a community and that we were important guests. If I have an opportunity to go back to the area I absolutely would go out of my way to stay at Whitney Lane RV park.
Easy pull through sites.
Roads are wide and turns are easy to make
Wi fi is ok, on TV, but not my phone
Simple park. Has full hook up on site, wi fi, trash and laundry.
Some sites are spaced out more then others but every one has their own patio and parking spot on site.
Mostly quite during the day and night.
I really enjoyed this site! There are a few full timers and the grounds are always kept nice. Good wifi, super clean laundry and only about a mile from town. You do hear a train now and then but nothing to complain about. The rate is awesome, the owners will go out of the way to help you.
Very clean park. WiFi is pretty good. Owners are very professional and helpful. Twice we needed an overnight stop along the way on longer travels, and this was just perfect for that. We enjoyed seeing the geese and the pretty crepe myrtle trees. Quiet park. We loved that they took Passport America, and that’s actually how we found them. It’s a short drive to Walmart if you need groceries or other supplies.
I have been here a little over a month now. Great park! Wifi is good and its quiet. Managers are some of the nicest people you have ever met.
