I am a traveling nurse working nights, so finding a quiet and safe campground makes all the difference between sleeping and not sleeping. Whitney Lane was exactly what I was looking for. The manager, Patrick, had a spot waiting for us on the day of our arrival and took the time to get to know us a bit and find out our needs during our 8 week stay. What I didn't expect was to get a sense that we were a guest in Patrick's home. Patrick treated the entire campground as if it were his home and all the campers were his personal guests. He did rounds multiple times a day in his green truck checking on overall safety of the RV park and talking with any camper that was out on the grounds. Every conversation included ensuring that the camper was comfortable and checking to see if there was anything Patrick could do to make the stay better. The overall feeling was that the RV park was a community and that we were important guests. If I have an opportunity to go back to the area I absolutely would go out of my way to stay at Whitney Lane RV park.
