Great location for a pit stop. Thus has got to be the cleanest service station in Arkansas. Friendly staff.

What a great place to stay! They thought of everything here! Beautiful spots & the bathrooms are new, modern, clean & mirrors & outlets everywhere! Don’t forget your quarters for the shower! Best granite shower with shelves & lil wood mat! Even camper cabins, Yurt & tent spots. Perfect location to stay & hike around the area. We Hawksbill Crag trail overlook a must! Thanks for the accommodations

I had never heard of the JB Trading Co. until I happened to spot it driving by, then turned around to check it out and I was glad I did! The first thing I noticed was the large selection of canoes in a building adjacent to the office. After a quick look I went next door and was amazed at the neat and complete selection of camping & survival gear. At first the guy behind the counter, who I think is the owner didn't speak until I greeted him and was not very personable but warmed up to me later in conversation. He answered all my questions about pitching a tent in the primitive camping area and explained the fact that the showers were coin operated @ 25 cents per minute. He also recommended getting change in quarters from him just in case he was closed if II came back later since i wasnt sure of my plans. He was also very nice to aliow me to pay him the next morning in the event he was closed when I returned. I did and had a comfortable night's stay. The bathrooms with the hot private showers (4 quarters were plenty) were amazing and the whole facility is immaculate. I highly recommend it!

This review is from the perspective of someone who mainly lives in their van. I visited during the off season, and was the only one there. That being said, the bathrooms were SUPER clean. I don't throw that around lightly. I don't know for certain about "cleanest showers in the Ozarks" or whatever they said, but I could well believe it. Only downside is the showers are quarter fed and it's 25¢ a minute, which seems pretty steep after already paying to stay. Maybe that's the cost of cleanliness. They also didn't have a bill/coin changer in their office, which seems a mighty big flaw for such a set up. Still I wouldn't complain, given how clean everything was. They don't have van spots, only parking spots for tent camping and RV spots. The tent camping parking spots are not level, so care is required when parking if sleeping in your car. I just found a couple flat rocks and put them under my tires on one side and it worked out mostly level. I will stay here again when coming to the bnr area.
