This recreation area is part of Greers Ferry Lake
From Drasco, AR, take Hwy 92 West 7 miles then 3 miles south on Brownsville Road. Follow signs into campground.
Greers Ferry is beautiful, Cherokee is one of our favorites. Great for swimming.
Currently in GREAT need of maintenance. As the water level had been high, and Department of Engineers has not been able to meet such demand. Boat ramp, campground accessible to the public. Monitored by Park rangers, & Game wardens.
Nice recreation area, clean bathrooms. Part of the ramp was underwater. I'll definitely go back to double check it.
We love this place! He's been coming to this campground since he was young...50 years of memories packed into this place. I've had the pleasure of visiting for the past 3 years & love it. The views are breathtaking. The water is refreshing. They keep it clean, neat & tidy. We'll continue visiting for the duration of our lives. Even looking at properties in the area.
