Whitesboro RV Resort is conveniently located between Gainesville, Texas and Sherman, Texas on Highway 82. With shopping, dining, fishing and casinos just a short drive - Whitesboro RV Resort is just far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of larger cities to be relaxing but not so far to make outings a chore. Easy access off of the highway also makes your stop less stressful than some of those more remote parks and resorts.
From Interstate 35 in Gainesville, Texas
Exit Hwy US 82 and head East. Exit 622 toward TX 56/ Main St in Whitesboro, Texas. The entrance to the Resort is located on the service road almost immediately after exiting.
From Interstate 75 in Sherman, Texas
Exit Hwy US 82 and head West on US 82. Exit 622 toward TX 56/Main Street in Whitesboro, Texas. At the stop sign (cross traffic does not stop), turn left going under the US 82 overpass. Take your immediate right onto the service road. Just past Club Lake Rd on your left hand side is the entrance to the resort from the service road.
Entering our address into mapping apps will send you to the south entrance on Club Lake Rd. Please use the north entrance located on the service road.
What a nice stop on our journey. Spent 2 nights with Passport America discount. We had a pull through big enough for a 40' motorhome with a tow Jeep. Level sites, really good water. Quiet even though it's easily accessed by the highway. Pond full of ducks to watch. Not real busy since it's a new rv park.
Great location. Lake Texoma, Eisenhower State Park, Megastar casino all within 1/2 hr. Denton or Frisco within an hour.
Spacious sites. Quiet park. Clean laundry & restrooms.
We were happy with our stay here. They were very accommodating. The shower room's were nice and clean and there is a fine laundry room. Also there is a nice clubhouse to hang out in with books and games and air conditioning. If we drive through this area again, this is a place we would stay. Thanks!
Stopped here in pouring rain. Joe, the husband to the boss, was more than helpful. It was such a nice place we decided to spend another night. The rates are more than reasonable and the Wi-Fi is amazing.
The people that run this place are phenomenal. Met with us late to help us get acquainted to the park. Campground was clean and well kept. Restrooms and showers were clean and attended to, and the Wi-Fi had no issues. Would definitely stay here again.
