Only person in immaculately maintained park. Saw 2 antelope. Nice walk by river.

We popped in just to stretch our legs and walked a short trail. It is very nice at this park. Very clean and well kept. Quiet. Bathrooms with showers was nice also. Stocked with soap and toilet paper.

Did not visit the visitor center because it was after hours. We just put our entry fee in the drop box.

Great tour of longhorns! Didn't realize how much we depend on cell service, none in this area. No gps or internet.

I thought I'd warn you to drive the speed limit in Albany downtown. I drove through town at 3AM and the speed limits vary every mile or two. So, I'm 10mph over the limit and a cop jumps out from behind a bush and stopped me! I'm on my way to CA. to see my mom in the hospital. He said to slow down and gave me a $185 ticket! It bumped my car insurance up $100/year for 3 years!

First time to visit and we enjoyed the stay. Loved touring the old sites and and buildings. Flor was very friendly and informative at the main building. The campsites are spacious and the bathrooms clean. Features a nice playground and hiking trails. We’ll be back for sure.
