4-day stay for free, $20/day for additional days.
From Jct of US-84 & US-385, N 0.5 mi on US-385 (R)
Lots of Nice shade, has a horseshoes area with pins in place, veteran memorial, and a pet walking area.
It was mostly empty during my stay. stayed 4 nights, shopped at both grocery stores, preferred Food King.
The northern entrance (Ace hardware side) is a nasty one for RV's, even the small one's.
Pinecones and bean pods, flies, flies, and flies...
While in the area, I'll stop here for sure anytime...
Great stopping point between Texas and New Mexico! Can’t beat free - especially for full hookups! By the time we were going to sleep, there were only 6 rigs total. Sticker burrs are the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. Dinner was an easy walk away. Also a big Ace Hardware right next door. We definitely left a donation out of appreciation for the space and amenities (before we found it, the plan was a WM parking lot)!
We had a great 2 night stay. You have road noise, but it isn't bad. Power and water hookups. No restrooms, but still a great little spot. If you need anything. There is a Ace Hardware next door.
Free RV spot for 4 days, then $20 a day after. Electric, water, and trash all available. Seems like a lot of empty spots when we got here on a sunday. It's a teeny tiny town but we're happy we chose to spend a week. They have a good Chinese and Mexican restaurant really close by.
Free!!! If you are use to camping, you know how precious this is. PLEASE leave a donation to the city of Littlefield, TX. If only a dollar bill. We stayed one night and left 10 bucks. We were in site 2 which is a pull through. The 30 amp we used was tested by me and had no problems. We did not use water as we had a full water tank. The weather was mild so we used little electricity. Out west, free Parks are easy to find but not with any electric or water.
God bless Littlefield for 1- Keeping Waylon Jennings memory and two for being so hospitable.
3- Please, if you need fuel, food, groceries etc, buy some here. This is how it should be done in tiny parks across America. It gets you off the interstate to see the real America, good and not so good.
This place is getting old and your donations could fund not only the poor traveler in need but also maintenance and upgrades. Be generous. Those who truly are needy will appreciate your prayers and donations.
