KOA journey Abilene is a great stop over. We have a Class A. Every thing is clean and staff are very friendly and kind. We will definitely stop there again on our travels. Really met our needs.

I spoke with a women named Denise she was condescending from the moment she answered the phone. she was not interested in listening to what I had to say and refused to help with the issue I was having. she kept asking stupid questions. Denise had an attitude and did not seem to be interested in providing any type of customer service. This is NOT the type of service I expected. Highly disappointed and will not recommend.

This KOA is under new management. the pros- good freeway access, close to shopping and restaurants, mistletoe in the trees ( it is Christmas time) and rigs were spaced out so you didn’t have a neighbor on top of you, site was long and a nice office staff. The cons—It seems to have been built before big rigs were the norm. It took 3 tries to get our 43 foot class A situated so our big slide wouldn’t the power stand. or the picnic table ( I moved it out of the way) causing us to have to unhook . The locust tree branches scraped the top of the rig but no damage. The biggest negative was the noise from the freeway. Earplugs help if you are a light sleeper like me. The sites are close to each other and tree positions make it tricky to get in and out of your site. Good for smaller rigs.

Had a good stay. The cabin was nice. Had a fridge. I loved the swing on the porch. The cabin was warm when we arrived, which brought out the wasps flying around in the cabin.( it's the south. It happens) I went to the front, and the lady was nice and gave us a can of Wasp spray. Asked if she needed to send a maintenance over. We Chose not to. The beds were nice in the cabin. REALLY nice and clean bathrooms. Thanks for our stay with you. I would recommend staying here.
