Only good thing I like was a place I could go to keep cool while I had no other place to go
We went to Moss Creek on Sept 23. We paid $40 for 2 cars for out of town residents. We had a decent time until we went to the restrooms. There were feces on the walls and it was plain nasty. It is a serious bio hazzard. The restrooms have been neglected for a long time. For the money we spent, the restrooms should be at least clean. I hope the city cleans up the restrooms so people can enjoy this getaway.
Nice place to ride. OHV area is located on the top of the hill. A lot of trails to ride. Views are great. Not many people there during the week.
Caught a beautiful sunrise solo canoe paddle this morning, plenty of seagulls, canadian geese, a mallard duck, a great blue heron, other waterfowl. Impressive limestone bluffs lead you to the south where the lake tightens to river sized conditions into a marshy dead end. 4 mile round trip. Get out there and adventure!
Took my dogs there to go swimming with my kayak, turned out to be a pretty nice place. We we were the only people there on a Wed. morning. Saw a few fish jumping, but we just went to ck it out!
