I have fished Lake Trammell for over 50 years, and I love this lake. Lots of underwater structure. It's low right now, and access to shore fishing is tough for a mountain goat, but there are fish in it.
I grew up going here every year. My Aunt and Uncle, Jack and Belle Teal owned a bait shop and home on the lake property. They loved to host Rattiesnake Roundup participants and fans. They had a ton of skins framed and mounted all over the place. So many memories.....
Excellent for fishing. No boats flying by, no jet skis and no swimming. Nice quiet fishing lake.
Love this little spot, it's quiet and peaceful. Camped here a few times traveling back and forth to Texas.
