Not sure why they consider this a Holiday rather than just a Journey. Very small and plain sites. Very thin layer of gravel in the sites and roads, would be muddy if it was raining. But not too many other things in that area. Nice Walmart a short distance away.

The site where we parked our class B was roomy enough and even had a little shade in the mornings. It really could have used more shade in the afternoons because it was 105⁰F and HOT in the afternoon. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The showers are intelligently arranged, they are in a hallway outside the actual bathrooms. The shower rooms are small, clean, and have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff are very friendly and responsive.

The KOA in Wellington, KS, is a solid choice for an overnight stay. Its proximity to the interstate makes it convenient for travelers looking for a quick stop. The occasional muddy areas could be a minor inconvenience, but they add a touch of adventure. What really sets this KOA apart is the soothing serenade of the train whistle—a unique and surprisingly comforting feature that can lull you into a peaceful sleep. If you're passing through, it's a reliable spot to recharge for the next leg of your journey.

This KOA is excellent! Very clean, the sites are great. They are Gravel sites and there are a few concrete premium sites. There is an above ground pool, playground, and basketball court. Small dog park, walmart is 2 minutes away. Have been here for 3 months for work. The owner and staff are amazing!

This is a very nice campground with clean facilities, level sites, and nice amenities like a pool and a fishing pond. We stayed for one night at the last minute after another campround fell through on our way through Kansas. The prices do seem high, but the amenities would probably make up for it if we had kids or were staying for more than one quick night. We were able to easily check in after hours. One other downside is there's a train track close by that is very active all night long (light sleepers beware). I think this would be a great place to take a weekend break away with the kids in the summer.
