Good Sam Club ratings 9/10/9.5. Facebook dubbed it the #1 RV park in Kansas. Guests enjoy the swimming pool, playground, horseshoe pits, clean bath houses and laundry facility, game room, book exchange and general store. The park also has a tenting area and the Cowboy Bunkhouse is also available for rent. Conveniently located at the intersection of US 50/400 and US 50/56, just a short drive to all the old west attractions, local casino, race track, event center, water park and more.

We stayed for two nights. It is a quiet campground with a clean laundry room and bathrooms. It is in close proximity to Dodge City and all the attractions. We would go there again.
We knew we were going to arrive late, but the hosts made it really easy for us to check in. Our site was on the edge of the new construction area, but they were not running the two days we were there. Overall, it was a pretty quiet park with nice wide sites and friendly neighbors. You could hear trains in the distance, but they were mostly drowned out by our air conditioner. We would definitely stay there again.
I'm a bit disappointed in this campground only because it looks like it needs some love and maintenance. Besides that our stay was great. We stayed in front of the campground in a small pull through. It was a bit noisy w truckers and train going by every so often. No one bothered us, felt safe. Looked like no one maintained the grounds in a season or more. The back of the campground was very nice. Big pull through spots and well maintained w sunset views. From pics on the website, it appeared all was like the back lot, nope! I guess I felt like we got ripped because we had no view except for campers/workers' rv's and overgrown grounds w bit of garbage.
Location: If you are not paying very close attention then you will miss the turn off. The signage could be better.
Customer service: absolutely horrible!!! I called earlier in the week asking questions about reservations because I was having issues with the website. The boy who answered told me that I didn’t need a reservation for the tent site because they are never full & that he would just help me in person when I got there. When I got there the gates were closed & no one was there to help me. I called & got the same boy I had talked to before. He said they closed early for the holiday & he was not going to come help me because he was drunk at a party. I reminded him that I had spoke to him earlier in the week & I had told him when I would be there. His response was “So!” I then asked if we could go ahead & camp & we could make the payment in the morning & that is when I got hung up on. SO we were left with no where to camp for the night. Even if the website gets fixed I will never choose this place.
We did a 16 day camping trip, 12 different campsites across 8 states & this was the only campground that is getting a bad review.
