From jct I-70 (exit 184) & US 281: Go 1 block N on US 281, then 1 block W on service road.
We stopped with our travel trailer for one night. Didn’t have a reservation but that wasn’t a problem. Got there after their official office hours but the owner was there checking late arrivals in. Asked for a lot with west side trees and got exactly what we asked for. Sites were gravel, long and wide, well maintained and pretty level. Bathrooms were probably the cleanest and nicest we’ve seen in a long time. Usually can hear the interstate but for us it was very minimal (and we’re not in s big rig with a lot of insulation). The minimal road noise didn’t keep us awake.
Only downside was there was only one bathroom for each male and female but I’m not hung up on that. There are a couple of full timers there but they seem to be located in a separate area.
Highly recommend this mom and pop owned park. Don’t let the dated signs cause concern.
This is a great place to stop. The owners are very nice people who help you get the best spot for your rig. The dog park is big and clean. It has the best glider for you to sit on. You will enjoy this park.
This is a great RV park just off 70. Just far enough off the highway to not hear the traffic noise. The sites are gravel and ours was shaded. They do have full sun sites if you need a clear sky. There is cable, but our TV died today, so we didn't use it. 1 bar of Verizon, but our hotspot streaming was good.
Stayed here one night on trip across US. Easy online book and check-in, which is nice because a lot of places don't have that. A retro playground the kids had a blast at. Full hookups and even fast wifi! Pull through sites. If packed, some would be a little cramped and have to back in. Dog park. We all streamed movies last night with no problem On three separate devices. A little expensive at over $50 with tax and booking fees, but is going rate in this area of the country. Would stop again if in the area. Didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on them.
We stopped here just overnight on our way home. We pulled in about 5:00 P.M. apparently after hours. There was a phone number on the door to call, so we did and were given directions to our site. There was no packet or anything available to tell us about the park or where anything was. The person I spoke with was not overly friendly. There was a bit of trash in the lot next to us. The site was long, but it looks like it would be tight if there were a lot of campers. There were a lot of cats on the grounds. It was an OK place to stop overnight, but not sure I would stay here much longer.
