Primitive camping is allowed in the designated areas.
The 179 acres surrounding the lake is a wildlife refuge, predominately riparian timber with some native grass on the upland area. Primitive camping is allowed on the west side of the lake. Boating is restricted to fishing only. The lake population includes Channel Catfish (which are stocked during the summer months thanks to funding from the Urban Fishing Program), Black bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Flat-head catfish, and Walleye.
Fantastic fishing! Clear water! I have spotted bald eagles, blue heron, and other wildlife. It is naturally protected from the wind (depending on on direction and strength) and makes kayaking and paddle boarding easier. Wear your PFD!

Great lake to fish or camp at. One side has camp grounds and the other side has a boat ramp and a couple different docks to launch a boat from or to sit on and fish. Also there is a designated swimming area if you want to swim. It's always a nice quiet little lake to visit and has a decent amount of fish in it.
