Love it. It is an isolated area that children can play And parents don't have to worry so much about them running out into traffic.

Nice little old fashion city park. We came off of Highway 36 East bound because of 40+ winds pushing our RV sideways. Google showed us the local camping opinions with the city park as the first choice. The location was easy to find. Off of 36, right onto 10th and down a few blocks. Past the railroad engine display and there you are on the right! The camping spots are gravel pads right off of the park road with electrical and access to portable water. There is 5 or so spots in the RV part of the park we were in, with a tent area around the corner, but best of all . . . No charge come on in! 5 nights allowed out of every 30 days and donations accepted to offset the cost of stay, electricity, water, close by flush toilets, tree-covered spots, walking trails, picnic tables and outdoor grills. And I can't forget the black squirrels. Apparently, they are quite rare and the park is their home. Marysville is protective of their town mascot and in 1977 passed laws against any harm done or intended against their black "Rockys". In fact we noticed several giant, black squirrel statues throughout the city. There is also the city pool, tennis courts, bandstand and an elaborate play area for the kids. Shopping and food are an easy 5 minutes walk away.

This is a great little place and we were grateful for safe haven from the wind showing us who really ruled the road. In fact, within 1 hour 3 other campers/RVs joined us in our little haven. Thank you city of Marysville for your hospitality. You all are doing wonderfully with reaffirming American values.

Beautiful place and loved the black squirrels. There were only about 6 hookups if you have a big RV. We pulled in with a 36' converted bus and a car and fit fine. Gorgeous canopy of trees!! We were close to the bathrooms if you need those and plenty of places to walk. Plenty of park lights which made it safe in the evening. Donations accepted at the restroom drop box.
