Campsite: Wellington KOA

Not sure why they consider this a Holiday rather than just a Journey. Very small and plain sites. Very thin layer of gravel in the sites and roads, would be muddy if it was raining. But not too many other things in that area. Nice Walmart a short distance away.

Campsite: Rio Grande Village Campground — Big Bend National Park

This was the full hookup RV sites. They converted a paved parking lot into 30 sites. Hookups all worked great. Nice laundry and restrooms. Nice camp store. Gasoline was reasonable price compared to nearby towns. Big Bend is a dark sky site for star gazing. Unfortunately too many RVs left a lot of lights on.

Campsite: Frontier RV Park and Campground

Great spot to stop. Very level gravel sites. Excellent cell service. Nice grassy sites with shade. Nice fire rings and worn picknick tables.

Food at the bar was good. I would stay here again while passing through the area.
