The Old El Camino Motorcourt & RV Resorts opened its gates on January 2, 2023 with a mission to provide a RV camping experience like no other. Created by a group of men with a vision that brings history to the present and an opportunity to enjoy serenity and peace. We strive to create a place where families and friends gather to catch their breath, to revel in magical moments that become memories and memories that become family traditions; To build a refuge where digital nomads roam, where software engineers, consultants, artists and entrepreneurs recharge their creativity batteries for weeks at a time; Curate an experience where transformation happens - where visitors are empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
Located just outside the city of Austin, TX, the Old El Camino dug its roots in Kyle, TX where the dream and visions came to life.
My husband and I recently spent a week at El Camino Motorcourt and RV Resort, and we were blown away by the exceptional facilities. The RV sites were immaculate, with spacious concrete pads and ample grassy areas between each site. Full hookups were available at every site, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Despite our 45ft Entegra anthem, we had no trouble navigating in and out of the park.
The highlight of our stay was the stunning pool area, which also featured a hot tub and a charming gathering space. Although we didn't have the chance to enjoy these amenities on this visit, we're eagerly anticipating our next trip in January when we can take advantage of them.
We were also impressed by the attentive and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Additionally, the resort offers comfortable cabin and cottage rentals that we heard great things about.
Lastly, as dog owners, we were thrilled to discover that the resort has a well-equipped dog park, complete with a dog wash station. Overall, we had an amazing experience at El Camino Motorcourt and RV Resort and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch RV vacation spot.
Stayed here for a year from its opening to where it's at today. It went through some growing pains as most new businesses go through. The place has the cleanest facilities and every pad is concrete with big personal grass or gravel areas. Pool is the largest around and the Hot Tub is a perfect way to end your day. The food truck was a nice touch and the live bands in the summer make for some good entertainment. The current Property Manager Ginger has done so much to make the place a Fulltimers community with always having events, game nights, and constantly letting the community know what's upcoming with the Newsletters. The grounds are always kept clean and tidy by the maintenance crew Mike and Keith. Office crew is always helpful, courteous and available (Stephanie, Terry, and Paola. It was a sad day when we were leaving all of the wonderful friends we made, but everything is temporary. Stay here and you won't be dissapointed.
I stayed for a weekend in one of the cabins and had a blast. Super luxurious, clean and had everything I needed. Smart TV, comfy bed, stove, plates, bowls, and desk. Easy to exit the resort so I could zip out to local sites. Highly recommended, will visit again! The staff and resort is great. The gym had everything I needed, awesome pool and stage for live music! Can't wait to return!
If the HUGE list of terms and conditions doesn't scare you away from here, hopefully this will. I had 10 spots in total at this park and not one tenant was pleased with their experience here. THE LITTLE FEES ARE CRAZY!! I have traveled all over the states and never seen the ridiculous fees as this park believes in. We have been gone for a month already and they are still trying to charge our cards constantly even after cancelation. Have you ever heard of a "reservation fee" even after paying monthly rent? Me either. The owners of this park think its totally okay to just turn off all water whenever they seem fit so they can save themselves from any damages. Seems like you should have put some more money in the construction of your park if you cant even give your tenants the services you charge them for. You would think if they are just going to take away a utilities you pay for, that there would be some sort of refund or compensation, nope not here. GO TO LONGHORN 4 MILES DOWN THE ROAD. Longhorn is way better to the tenants, and you can tell the owners know how to run a park. This is my first time writing a review on a RV park after staying at 100s of them if that says anything, this place is a joke.
My experience with Old El Camino RV Resort was great from the first call. Ginger did a great job to accommodate my wife and I in one of the cabins on a visit to see my son in Kyle. The cabin was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park was very nice and clean, look forward to coming back in warmer weather to use all of the amenities. 5 star all the way!
