I had a bit of trouble finding the place, I was extremely tired. Stopped at the store across the street and she pointed it out to me. Upon arriving in my room, the first place I headed was the bathroom, oops, not in the room. I walked out into the hallway, another guest pointed it out to me. My room was extremely clean, towels and washcloths laid out on the bed. Normally on a strange bed I don’t sleep well. These were very comfortable.
Next trip, I’ll bring a robe and feel more at home. Reminded me of Petticoat Junction.
Freezing all the time. No separate temperature control. AC blows you while trying to sleep.
Room without window, and very dark light only, at least in the extra room w sink.
Checkout earlier than usual time at other places, and no way you stay longer outside the room.
After checkout, your fridge will not be checked and cleaned. Thats how the next peraon checked in w having my stuff in there.
No spare toilet paper found when almost running out.
It is what it is - a place to stay! It was the best deal I could get in the Fredericksburg/Kerrville/Boerne area for the night I needed to book a stay. Good for travelers passing through and need a place to rest their head. Easy in and out; hosts communicated clearly through Airbnb. I like that the former doctors office space has been repurposed as cozy, affordable accommodations. My main suggestion for improvement is cleanliness. My room was fine, except a few things in the small attached kitchenette room - coffee maker was dirty, there was a leftover wash cloth from the last guest, and when I went to plug something in, I discovered a pair of socks hanging on the microwave cord underneath the counter; I took a shower in the bathroom located in the communal kitchen area and it definitely needs to be cleaned. It wasn't unusable, of course, but I wished I had thought to bring some shower sandals. Overall decent place, just could be better with a little extra care.
This was a bit different, what a useful wait to do an old doctors office, call the exam rooms are now like bedrooms, with two shared bathrooms. I would imagine the two shared bathrooms would be congested when busy but I think there was only one other room rented when I stayed. It was pretty nice. They've got a kitchen that you can use
The beds are fine and the bathroom was well maintained. The issue was the temperature. It was set to 68° and it was 58° outside. It was so cold 🥶 it was miserable.
