My heart breaks for the permanent campers at The Landing at Bear Creek, we just went through the same thing at our campground. Tripled lot rents that most in our farm community can't afford. The campground is now almost deserted, almost all campers have left.
We absolutely love Landing at Bear Creek!! The grounds are clean , the sites are spacious and the people here are extremely friendly! You can’t hardly go from one site to the next without having to stop and talk to someone! Very nice splash pad and there are activities every weekend at the large pavilion!!! They have live music at least a couple times a month! Last weekend we had a campground cookout and the food that everyone brought was outstanding!!!
New company has bought out the campground and is already running it into the ground. Raising lot rent with not even a two weeks notice. Almost tripling the price for seasonal campers. Charging for amenities that aren’t even here. Absolutely disgusting I would look elsewhere.
A new, corporate, owner came in and nearly tripled the price for seasonal campers to stay there. their response is that they will have more flowers in the park and an office with free coffee. theyre trolling us at this point. stay far away from these heartless crooks. some of their photos online arent even of the actual park. now theyre breaking contracts and giving folks less than a month to get campers out or we have to pay an additional fee. Stay far away
Absolutely disgusting company has bought out this once reputable location. Stay far away. They have treated every person who was already at the location like a plague that they had to get rid of. Raising rates on everyone by almost triple and giving absolutely no heads up putting it into immediate effect, giving everyone the middle finger. They are charging these outrageous rates for amenities that are not ever there. If I had the choice of being homeless or staying here I would rather be homeless. Absolute disgusting.
