AVOID THIS CAMPGROUND IF YOU ARE A BIG RIG; NOT big rig friendly! We rented a PULL THROUGH spot as a stopover spot on our way through from Pennsylvania to Illinois. Perfect location and nice lake, but once you get past the nice drive in, you see how packed in they put these sites! Our site MIGHT have been a pull through had they not had permanent sites in front of the pull through drive along with all their cars and golf carts! There was barely room for us to unhitch, and we had to back out to leave this morning! The utility placement was all over the place. We had to borrow our neighbors sewer hose extension because the sewer connection was so far away, and we have three sections of our own!! Luckily our camper neighbors were all very nice and helpful when it came to backing out this morning.

Off the main Hwy but worth the trip for a peaceful night. The nearby State Park, was packed like sardines.

We boondocked on the other side of the pond as you enter. A better choice then full hook up as that was a parking lot of campers.

RV dump site had standing questionable water around the pipe that extended above the concrete pad. So, we didn't use it!

Saw a lot of big rigs camping.

Beautiful lake and could have been serene except for other campers being noisy constructing decks and working on cars. Seems to have several permanent campers and road through camp is crowded with full timers stuff. Water service wasn’t working and promise of it getting fixed by end of day didn’t happen. We ended up leaving a day early. It has potential to be a nice campground.

I was lucky to be a seasonal camper at Sky Lake for two seasons. The campground is beautiful, the lake is gorgeous, and the people are very friendly. Management and the camp hosts are very responsive, and usually respond within minutes. The property is quiet and well maintained. 10/10 would camp here again.
