This place is excellent! They made special arrangements for our out of town group to be able to kayak on a day that they were closed! I can't speak highly enough about the service we received. Everyone was super friendly and so good to work with! 12/10 recommend!
The staff was friendly and responsive. and the kayak, paddle and life preserver were all sturdy and functional. While the river was so low that I bottomed out a number of times, I greatly enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the Hocking River in the early fall.
This was a great experience for myself and 20 of my family/friends. We all have nothing but 10 stars for this business and all their employees. Will definitely be back next year for our annual family canoe trip. Thank you so much for a fun filled day!
Great Experience. We took our 120lb dog and our friends took their 70lb dog and they the livery was well prepared and accommodating. The river was gorgeous although we went when it hadn't rained in over a month so it was shallow at some points and we have to push the canoe a few times but we were well warned. The communication from the company was great with email and text reminders. Overall 5/5 experience. We will be going back and canoeing with this company again.
The business was great to work with. We booked a trip over the phone for a group of middle school students traveling on a weekend trip. The scheduler was gracious and helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and offered assistance when needed. Bob was one of the best parts of the trip! He drove us to our starting location and entertained us the whole ride. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor with our students. We were celebrating a students birthday and he made it so much fun. We will definitely return in the future with another group of students!
