Called a month early to get a cabin and said you have to pay for first night the rest we will collect when u arrive. Called today to find out they will not give money back. This is not okay I run several bussness and I would never do this. That is not okay in any way. If you have a month to rent this cabin out and make money off of it then return mine. I could see if it was the day before I was coming into town. No wonder people are not happy. Then find out that a kid just got killed there riding a four wheeler and the rules say no under age on them. Beware of this scam people. Do not rent a cabin in here. Would put picture on here of the cabins rentals and it doesn't say anything about a 99 dollar charge if you cancel. It will not let me

Live just over an hour from Big Bear Lake. Loaded up the granddaughters and decided to head that way. Biggest mistake we've ever made. Stopped at the Visitor's Center because we noticed a sign that stated you needed a visitor's pass beyond this point. Gentleman at the counter treated me as if I was nothing more than a common criminal. Refused to give me a visitor's pass if we weren't looking to either rent a cabin or a camping space. Even though there's a lake for swimming and or fishing. Stated to me that I could be there to steal or possibly rob the campers. Stereotyping me, yes that was obvious, no eye contact, only looking at my tattoos while making these remarks. Could do nothing at this point but turn and walk away. Didn't want to would rather have said something but had my family waiting in the vehicle. Would definitely not recommend this Resort nor will we ever make a return visit.

Top notch hospitality, if you want to feel like part of the family just stop and talk with the owners. Clean facilities, excellent staff and good food to boot!

Unbelievable gem in Southern Ohio. Our family stayed two nights in a pull through camping spot. The site was tree-lined, clean, level, and within walking distance of a playground and shower house.

The resort is gorgeous! It's nestled in between two mountains (atleast to a clevelander they are mountains) and it rests next to a lake. It's obvious from the moment you drive in the property is very well maintained and cared for.

Also, the seasonal campsites are REALLY "decked" out. They are also cared for and sharp! Saw a double decker deck which was cool.

The shower houses are VERY clean and you don't feel like you need a shower after going in. Quite the opposite actually, I prefers to use those showers instead of the small one in our camper.

There is a fabulous beach with trucked in sand, concessions hut, and really cool rocking table pavilions.

Last but not least the owners and staff are fantastic and really help make the experience totally worthwhile and worth every penny!

I can't recommend this place enough and we'll definitely be back again!

Had a great time while renting a cabin here. We hiked, fished, swam and played at the beach. You do have to bring linens with you as well as plates and utensils. However, there was a twin and full bunk bed and twin bed room then our queen sized room and the couch folded out to a futon as well. We were able to buy anything we forgot at the store on site. Check in was 2 and check out was 11.
