Address: 13461 SR 664 South, Logan OH 43138
-Easy check-in process
-Nice amenities (mini golf, jump pad, basketball, kayaks, etc)
-Close to great hiking
-Bathrooms were clean enough/had hot water
-very dog friendly
HOWEVER, DO NOT tent camp here. The tent camping sites are on a hill and extremely sloped. Chairs kept falling over. Items slid off picnic table instantly. Very hard to sleep on such an aggressive slope.
•Beautiful campground with free activities for adults and children alike.
•Remote check-in makes it easy to just arrive and pull into your spot.
•Friendly owners who are quick to help/repair any issue.
•Close to Hocking Hills caves and trails.
•Only con I have found is the fire pits are too close to campers in the pull thru lots.
•Make sure to bring an extra sewer hose as the hook up is in back of the lot. We just had enough. Our neighbor had to go buy extra.
•Mosquitos are bad this time of year so bring some spray.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would come back. The tampoline/pillow/blob was a huge hit. My kids and teenagers were on it for at least an hour each day. The main building had AC, laundry room, store, a basketball game, ping ping, etc. We stayed in a camper, and everything went smoothly. There is a trail down to Lake logan and kayaks that you can rent. Only complaint is the showers in the main building - there were bugs in them, and they would not heat up. This wasn't a big issue for me because I used the smaller restroom in the middle of the camper section. Dog friendly.
This place is a true hidden gem in my opinion. Despite being relatively new, it's rapidly expanding and offers a range of amenities that are quite exceptional. We had the pleasure of staying in "Tiny House" #100, and the location was simply fantastic. I even managed to capture some stunning images and videos of the property using my drone, which I intend to share with the property owners.
The location is ideal, with quick access to everything you might need, from restaurants to Walmart and Kroger. Plus, it's conveniently situated for easy access to all the nearby attractions via well-connected routes. What's more, you're just a short 2-minute drive from popular state routes for easy exploration. You’re also a quick hike to the lake or short drive to the marina.
The staff here goes above and beyond with their friendliness. It feels like a tight-knit community where everyone knows each other, and you're greeted with waves and hellos everywhere you go. We're already planning to return someday, and I can't wait to experience this wonderful place again.
This may be my favorite campground ever! The couple who runs it are so sweet. They have a ton of games and activities for the kids including putt putt and a giant jumping pillow. There’s even organized family events too. They even fill propane on-site which is super handy. Their camper/RV spots are large and paved pads and they have cabins and we even saw people staying in a converted covered wagon. The bathrooms and showers look nice. You get the sense these people really want their guests to have a good camping experience. If we come back to Hocking we’ll be staying here again for sure.
